How To Do Push Ups In 12 Easy Progressive Steps

I put this progressive push up video for those of you that are having problems doing push ups.

So many people get into the push up position, try to lower themselves down, crash on the ground and say "I can't do push ups!".  They then quit.  Does this sound familiar?

If this is you, you should stop trying to jump straight into the perfect push up and progress using these 12 simple exercises first.  You be strong enough to start at step 6 and that is fine, focus on whichever step you think is working on your weak point the most until you can rep out perfect push ups.

Each progression will help you build up the strength and ability to get to the next step before finally being able to rep out push ups easily.

HOW TO DO PUSH UPS IN 12 EASY STEPS

1. BENT KNEE NEGATIVES
2. BENT KNEE PARTIALS (UPPER)
3. BENT KNEE PARTIALS (LOWER)
4. BENT KNEE ISOMETRIC HOLDS
5. BENT KNEE PUSH UPS
6. INCLINE PUSH UPS
7. ISOMETRIC HOLDS (UPPER)
8. ISOMETRIC HOLDS (MID)
9. NEGATIVES
10. PARTIALS (UPPER)
11. PARTIALS (LOWER)
12. REST PAUSE PUSH UPS
